From Athlete To Entrepreneur: A Journey Of Tenacity

I founded this company driven by a deep-seated desire to chart my own course and create a legacy that reflects my unique perspective. The catalyst for this endeavor was the birth of my son. Stetson, coinciding with a dynamic shift in the market landscape. This period of change allowed me the opportunity to introspect, and I take immense pride in the organic growth and stellar reputation we have achieved. In making this entrepreneurial leap, I was acutely aware that I had to pursue my vision wholeheartedly, adhering to my principles and instincts. Though I briefly grappled with the concept. my determination solidified my resolve, compelling me to forge ahead my way or no way at all.

Montana, particularly its women, embody a distinctive spirit characterized by fearlessness and nonconformity. Having been born in Missoula and raised in the Bitterroot valley, I epitomize this ethos. With a pioneer’s mindset, I set audacious business goals, propelled by the same tenacity that fueled my achievements as an athlete. Swiftly emerging as a leading force in my market. I introduced a fresh perspective, challenging norms and embracing innovation. I am eagerly anticipating the continuation of this transformative journey. With unwavering determination. I am driven to create a legacy that my children, including Stetson, will proudly inherit. Greetings from our little slice of paradise in Sula, where family, fur babies, and the natural wonders of Montana converge. As a proud wife and mother of two, I’ve cultivated a haven here that I believe mirrors the serenity of Heaven on Earth. With our four dogs, two kittens, flourishing garden, sauna, and sunflowers, every day feels like a page out of a storybook.

Being a true Montana native, I intimately understand the essence that makes this place extraordinary – from the secret powder stashes at Lost Trail to the charming coffee shops, elusive huckleberry spots, and my cherished swimming spots along the Bitterroot River where I take my boys. The Bitterroot Valley, until recently, was our cherished secret, our “Last Best Place.”

Despite the growth in our communities and the expansion of our cultures, there remain timeless elements that define the Bitterroot Valley. I take immense pride in the extensive network of resources I’ve amassed over the years, ranging from skilled contractors and talented florists to creative designers and expert guides. In essence, I know all there is to know about Western Montana, with a laser focus on the enchanting Bitterroot and Beaverhead valleys.

Raising four wonderful boys, three of whom have chosen to call Montana home, inspired me to become an authority on all things local. I have lived in and out of Montana since I was 10 years old, remembering walking to school up and down hill in the snow at Lolo School and later going to Big Sky HS. I have been around real estate and construction since I was young enough to walk. Today I teach my kids the lessons I have learned from being around my father’s construction company and grandparents who owned rental properties. That passion from learning from them and seeing how it helps people, something I love most to do has fueled me to join to help families find their home, or develop homes for families. I am very much involved parent coaching local sports, field trips and helping any way to support our wonderful community, and other Veterans like myself. Our family is very active in both local fire and sheriff departments. 

My start in construction like anyone was a general labor, then learning drawings and construction project management. Which I have done for over 15 years. I love helping people grow their businesses as I have run and sold many companies finding it extremely exciting to watch someone reach new goals for their family. I have flipped, built and developed homes as well as personal ownership. I love viewing properties and seeing the potential it has.

What gives me so much joy in life is my kiddos, they bring me life, and keep be grounded. I have coached HS, NCAA, NBA basketball and soccer for over 15 years and love it and now getting to watch my kids find their way with sports, dance and yes even building has been exciting. I will always continue to coach and help youth sports as it helped me in life to learn what success takes and develop deep friendships. Something I want all kids to be able to take a part in even if that means sponsoring a child to participate. Something they will never forget, or perhaps helps them through a tough time in life.
